Seeking Expressions of interest for Dieppe Market Expansion

Wednesday, June 24 2015

The Really Local Harvest Co-op (RLHC) is calling out for expressions of interest as to identify potential tenants for the expansion of the Dieppe Market. The project is not yet set in stone, nonetheless these non-binding expressions of interest will contribute to the finalization of the RLHC’s ongoing feasibility study and concept plan. Interested parties have until July 31st to submit their project.

The Really Local Harvest Co-op (RLHC) is a group of 28 agricultural producers located throughout southeastern New Brunswick. The RLHC was incorporated in the year 2000 to facilitate the promotion and marketing of local agricultural products and to support the development of the agricultural industry as a whole. The 2005 opening of the Dieppe Market is one of the co-op’s greatest success stories. The RLHC continues to operate the market while its partner the City of Dieppe owns the building.

The purpose of this 14,000 square foot expansion is mainly to improve the infrastructure, the performance, overall operations and the regional impact of the Dieppe Market; to improve the overall market experience for visitors and merchants and to generate new opportunities for the RLHC’s members, partners and regional businesses. The concept plan includes 4 permanent retail outlets open on weekdays, additional space for the Saturday market, leased office and multifunctional space, a certified kitchen for demonstrations, events as well as community rentals.
