Art à la ferme! / Art on the Farm!

10 year old artist Natasha Williams is selling her paintings for a good cause…. Natasha will give half the income earned from sales of her paintings to IWK Hospital in Halifax. The other half will enable Natasha to keep on painting.

Check out Natasha’s paintings which are displayed at her uncle Eddy Williams’ farm Market.

Natasha Williams, une artiste de 10 ans de St-Antoine,  vend ses peintures pour une bonne cause… Natasha veut offrir la moitié des ventes de ses peintures à l’Hôpital IWK d’Halifax. L’autre moitié lui permettra d’acheter les matériaux pour continuer à peindre. Les peintures de Natasha sont exposées au kiosque de la ferme de son oncle Eddy Williams.

National Farmers Union Regional Convention

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the National Farmers Union Regional Convention (Region 1). The theme of this year’s meeting is: “Diversifying the Farm: Value-adding in the Local Marketplace.” Join members of the NFU from NB, NS and PEI at the beautiful Dune View Inn in Bouctouche, N.B.

We are pleased to have as keynote speakers Sally and Mark Bernard of Barnyard Organics, recent recipients of the 2012 Atlantic Outstanding Young Farmer award. Lunch will be served by Chef Carson of Carson Organics. A garden tour will be included in the day. Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with registration at 8:30 a.m.)
